Our spring sailing season began a bit early with a nice cruise for Marti, from upstate New York and Rachel, and Ian, from LA. The wind was a bit light but the weather was fair and warm. (For western Washington in spring, that is!) We stayed in Echo Bay at Sucia, then on to Roche Harbor, where we stayed in Garrison Bay, then onto Friday Harbor, where our guests regrettably had to take their leave. Mari and I continued on to Stuart Island. Why? Why not! Sailing back from Stuart, we had a fresh breeze and sailing was great. We can’t wait to go again. Anyone care to join us?
